Deacon Jane Mills

I am originally from Sheffield, where my parents still live, I was a lay worker in Nottingham before training for ministry at Queens college in Birmingham and have previously served as a Deacon in Colchester, Bedford (including MHA chaplaincy), and the Falmouth and Gwennap Circuit, Cornwall.

I am married to Maurice, and currently have 3 cats. We love to explore local sites and travel more extensively when possible.

I am passionate about the Church taking a lead in combating both climate change and social injustice, spiritually I am drawn to the Celtic tradition, especially the use of Labyrinths and prayer stations.

Outside Church I enjoy a variety of crafts, DIY, walking and kite flying, Maurice and I also have a shared passion for Marvel Comics, both in print and on film!
